Hungry youngsters enjoy hearty breakfast in Hatton

Stratford Editorial 24th Jan, 2018   0

A HEARTY breakfast awaited youngsters at Hatton Adventure World.

Children from nearby Ferncumbe Church of England School were treated to the most important meal of the day at the farm park’s restaurant.

They were collected by tractor and delivered to the park which is home to a number of farm animals and a guinea pig village.

Pupils were given the full English treatment including locally sourced bacon, sausage, scrambled eggs, vegetables, wholemeal bread, milk and fruit.

And the hungry lot were even waited on by local farmers and members of the Warwickshire branch of the National Farmers’ Union.

The event was organised as part of National Farmhouse Breakfast Week – a nationwide campaign backed by the Home Grown Cereals Authority.

The campaign is designed to encourage and educate families and especially children, on the positive benefits of a daily breakfast.
