Stratford Editorial 10th Jan, 2020   0

STRATFORD District Council together with the 3million, a not-for profit organisation which campaigns to protect the rights of EU citizens in the UK post Brexit, are holding free Settlement Scheme Information Sessions in the district.

The events aim to provide information and advice about EU Citizens’ rights in the UK during Brexit and help with the EU Settlement Scheme application.

The events are taking place in Alcester at the Eric Payne Community Centre on Jubilee Fields, off St Faiths Road, on Monday (January 13) and in Bidford at the Crawford Memorial Hall on Salford Road on Thursday (January 16). Both start at 11am.

In Alcester there will be free support with the EU Settlement Scheme application from 1.30pm to 3pm, and in Bidford from 2pm to 4pm on the respective dates.

Applicants will need access to their mobile phone and email address, and will need to have a valid passport or national identity card, National Insurance number, together with documents to prove they have been living in the UK for five consecutive years row.

More events are planned in the district – dates and venues to be confirmed.
