Gaz Coombes live at the RSC in Stratford

GAZ Coombes goes it alone at the RST in Stratford next month.

The singer-songwriter, best known as the guitarist and lead singer of alt rockers Supergrass, is the latest performer in the RSC Live series on June 19

He will showcase material from his six-year solo career, including his most recent album Matador.

Coombes has been recording for over 20 years with band and solo, and Matador was nominated for the Mercury Prize 2015 and Ivor Novello Album Award 2016.

He will be supported by American indie-pop artist Piney Gir, whose set will include offerings from her most recent album Mr Hyde’s Wild Ride.
