Firefighters called to man impaled on 6ft fence in Stratford

FIREFIGHTERS rescued a man impaled on a six foot fence in Stratford.

The crew was called out shortly after 2am this morning (Friday) to the scene in Guild Street.

The 33-year-old is being treated in hospital for an injury to the top of his leg.

His injuries are serious but not thought to be life-threatening.
