Festivities will see Stratford folk starring in interactive nativity

Stratford Editorial 8th Dec, 2017   0

FESTIVE folk will have a chance to play their part in an interactive nativity at Stratford’s Bell Court this weekend.

Organised by Magic Alley, which will be moving to the newly-renovated centre next year, people will be guided through their role, given lines to read, songs to sing and instruments to play.

Each performance will last around 30 minutes, followed by an appearance from Santa, entertainment from Rozie T Dance Academy and Christmas carols performed by Snitterfield handbell ringers. Queen Victoria will even be making an appearance.

Magic Alley owner Dave Matthews said: “This is a great way for children and grown-up children to get in the Christmas spirit and have a bit of fun. It’s designed for anyone and everyone; no skills required, just the desire to smile. I’m sure Queen Victoria will love the performances – we might even get a giggle from Her Royal Highness.”

No booking is required for the free event, which takes place at 4pm on Friday (December 8), and 12.30pm and 4.30pm on both Saturday and Sunday in the court’s central square.
