Family fun day set to take place in Stratford

Stratford Editorial 8th Jul, 2016 Updated: 28th Oct, 2016   0

A FREE family fun day is set to take place in Stratford later this month.

The event, which will be held on Hodgsons Green in Justins Avenue on Saturday July 23, will include refreshments, face painting, sports activities, a bouncy castle and a host of local groups.

It will offer residents further information about the rejuvenation of the Ken Kennett Centre and provide them with an opportunity to get involved.

People will also be able to have their say about the new proposals to refurbish the centre into a community hub.

The fun day, running from 2pm to 5pm, is supported by the district and county council.

Email Lorraine Clifford-Parker on [email protected] for further details.

STRATFORD Town Trust’s AGM will take place at Stratford Artshouse on July 20.

Members are invited to meet trustees in the bar from 6pm before the AGM begins at 7pm.

Trustees will also be available after the meeting, which is expected to finish around 8.30pm.

Stratford Town Trust is a grant-giving charity, which distributes around £1.7million each year to support the Stratford community.

Membership is free and open to anyone aged 18 or over who lives in the town.

The AGM and surgeries are open to members only.
