FAMILIES enjoyed all the fun of the fair to raise money for The Shakespeare Hospice.
The hospice’s Summer Fete raised some £3,000 through stalls, music performances, treasure hunts, complimentary therapies, a Punch and Judy show and pony rides around the Shottery site.
Charity spokeswoman Karen Davies said: “We are so grateful for all the support of our volunteers and fundraisers who put in so much hard work to the Summer Fete.
“It was a fantastic opportunity to talk to families and patients about the hospice services and I want to thank all the volunteers who continue to support us and help put on these events.”
The hospice supports around 1,000 a year suffering with life-limiting illnesses.
