DOG lovers are invited to find out what it takes to look after hundreds of hounds at a rehoming centre.
The Dogs Trust centre in Kenilworth – which cares for around around 150 dogs – is opening its doors to give free behind the scenes tours to groups, including the chance to meet dogs waiting to find their new homes.
Staff are also able to visit groups to give talks in the community.
Charity spokeswoman Jane Hirons said: “Giving groups a tour of the rehoming centre provides people with a fantastic insight into what it takes to look after so many dogs, and of course there’s always the added bonus of meeting some of our current dogs waiting for their forever homes.
“But if a visit to Dogs Trust Kenilworth isn’t possible, I am more than happy to meet them at a venue of their choice.”
