BUDDING dancers have put their best foot forward to raise money for The Shakespeare Hospice.
More than 300 supporters came to Stratford High School to cheer on 11 professional dancers and their ‘celebrity’ partners.
The teams have been practicing for the past seven weeks ready for the live final, with the coveted Strictly Come Prancing Crown going to Julie Govier and Steve Haynes.
The night followed the same format BBC’s Strictly Come Dancing and raised an impressive £10,000 for the charity.
Dancers performed in front of three judges – Stratford mayor Juliet Short and dance professionals Margaret Greenwood and Louise Gould.
