AN ELDERLY man had to be airlifted to hospital following a two car crash in Stratford town centre.
Emergency services were called to Greenhill Street shortly after 1.30pm on Monday (August 22).
Officers cordoned off the road following the crash between a Mini Cooper and a Ford Fiesta.
The driver of the Mini – a man in his 80’s – was flown to hospital by air ambulance while the passenger, a woman, was taken by land ambulance.
The driver of the Ford suffered arm injuries.
Greenhill Street will remain closed for the afternoon.
