IT might look like it, but they’re all pulling in the same direction at Coughton Court.
Staff at the national Trust property near Alcester are preparing for their annual summer fete – and tug of war competition – on Saturday (July 8).
Now in its seventh year, the free fete will be on the back lawn at Coughton from noon to 4pm.
Visitors can browse stalls, join in with family friendly games and of course, pick up the rope and take on the Coughton team in tug of war.
Money raised from the event will go towards local schools and charities.
Claire Hancox, who organises the fete, said: “It’s fantastic to have such a great relationship with the Coughton community.
“So far a fantastic £5,746 has been raised and put towards projects at Coughton Primary School, Sambourne Cemetery and the ford area.”
