THE CONSERVATIVES were also celebrating after winning a Stratford District Council by-election in Ettiington on Thursday.
Penny-Anne O’Donnell took the seat with 949 votes, from Bill Dowling (Liberal Democrat) with 227 votes, and Dave Passingham of the Green Party with 102 votes.
Turnout for was 47.2 per cent.
