RESIDENTS in Brailes and Winderton are invited to comment on the draft proposal for the Neighbourhood Plan in the areas.
Brailes Parish Council has prepared the ‘Brailes and Winderton Neighbourhood Development Plan 2011-2031’ with the help of the community.
The plan sets out a vision for the future of the area and planning policies which will be used to determine planning applications locally.
The consultation period will be for eight weeks taking into account the Christmas holiday period.
Neighbourhood plans are a key component of the government’s Localism Act, which aims to devolve greater powers to councils and communities.
A copy of the plan can be viewed on the Stratford District Council website at www.stratford.gov.uk/neighbourhoodplans or paper copies can be viewed at the council’s offices at Elizabeth House and also at Shipston and Stratford libraries.
Visit www.stratford.gov.uk/brailesnp to comment on the plan or by attaching a form to an email and sending it to [email protected].
Those who prefer to post a response should address it to Freepost RTJX-GHEE-ZUCS, Stratford District Council, Consultation Unit, Elizabeth House, Church Street, Stratford, CV37 6BR.
Comments on the draft plan should be made by 5pm on Thursday January 17.
