Charity shop call for spring cleaner's donations

Stratford Editorial 5th Apr, 2017   0

PEOPLE are being encouraged to have a spring clean to help stock a Stratford charity shop.

The Sue Ryder shop in Greenhill Street is keen for donations from people who are de-cluttering to donate any unwanted items.

The shop relies on people’s donations to help fund the care at seven hospices and five neurological care centres across the UK which help care for people with conditions from cancer to multiple sclerosis.

Shop manager Alex Clarke said: “Our Sue Ryder shop has always been a popular stop in Stratford for good quality secondhand items and with the new season upon us it’s the ideal time to have a clear-out and donate your old items.

“We know that ladies-wear sells fast here so donations of dresses, tops, skirts and trousers are very welcome. We would be equally grateful for menswear, bric-a-brac, books and DVDs.”
