Alcester Male Voice Choir on lookout for new members

Stratford Editorial 16th Sep, 2018   0

SINGERS are invited to find out more about joining the Alcester Male Voice Choir at an open evening.

More than 80 men are currently part of the group, which practices every Wednesday night.

But even more are needed, and those interested in joining are invited to see the group in action at the Jubilee Centre on St Faiths Road on Wednesday (September 19) at 7.30pm.

Choir founder Judith Land said: “Our membership is drawn from all walks of life, all musical abilities and of all ages, but we do lose members through a variety of reasons so it is essential to secure the future of the choir through constant recruitment.

“Potential members often hesitate to take that first step and I fully understand why. But I would like to assure any gentleman interested that they would be made most welcome. There are no stressful auditions, they don’t have to read music, they will make new friends and above all have fun and through singing.”

Call Judith on 07886 139781 to find out more.
