A £1.5 MILLION building project is underway at KES.
The new three-storey building at the Stratford grammar school include classrooms, a library, a sixth form study and IT suites.
Headmaster Bennet Carr said: “This is a vital development in the evolution of the school.
“The new building – housing the English Department, a new library and sixth form study and a suite of computing rooms – will provide state-of-the art facilities to help us maintain the very highest standards of education.”
The project is being undertaken by Deeley Construction and is set to be completed by Autumn.
The company is also converting two classrooms in the main building into laboratories.
