THERE’S plenty to sing about in The World Goes Round at Leamington’s Loft Theatre.
The production is a revue of the songbook from the multi-Tony award-winning team of musical theatre collaborators Kander and Ebb, with the original production winning three Drama Desk Awards.
The revue takes its title from a tune the songwriting team wrote for Liza Minnelli to sing in the film New York, New York.
Filled with humour, romance, drama and nonstop melody from Cabaret to Chicago, the five strong cast and live orchestra feature classics such as Maybe This Time, Cabaret and New York, New York.
Director James Suckling said: “Having listened to the CD of The World Goes Round for many years it has been a privilege to bring this extensive Kander & Ebb back catalogue to life on the Loft stage.”
The World Goes Round runs from November 29 to December 9.
