Sir Michael Parkinson to answer the questions at Warwick Arts Centre

SIR Michael Parkinson will be answering the questions for a change at Warwick Arts Centre.

Journalist and author Michael Parkinson, best known for presenting his long-running television talk show Parkinson, will be answering questions at the university venue on October 13.

His show An Evening with Sir Michael Parkinson will see the star interviewed by his son Mike and will recount many of the presenters famous chats down the decades with some of the world’s most famous names down

The show will take place in the Butterworth Hall which will also host some of the UK’s most popular comedians.




Russell Brand is back on the road with his first tour in three years and will perform on May 9 before returning on October 4 with his Re:Birth tour.

He will address a host of topics including modern media, politics, sex, fatherhood and death all in his own inimitable fashion.


And on May 4 and May 11, one half of radio duo, Lee and Herring, Stewart Lee will present his latest offering Stewart Lee: Content Provider to the centre. He has spent years taking the stand-up circuit by storm as well as winning BAFTAs and comedy awards for his writing and four Olivier awards for his theatre show Jerry Springer The Opera.

Mock the Week and BBC Radio 4 regular Milton Jones will take to the stage on October 28 with his latest surreal offering Milton Jones is Out There.

And fresh from the celebrity Australian outback jungle, Joel Dommett, will take to the on November 4. The energetic comedian – who is not averse to eating a fish eye – will be looking to raise a laugh with his solo show.
