THE WIT and songs of Noel Coward can be heard at Leamington’s Loft Theatre on Sunday (October 6).
Coward had, legendary, a ‘talent to amuse’ – but he also had a talent to provoke and move his audience.
In a performance redolent of the style of the 1920s and 30s, Andrew Waxkirsh adjusts his bow tie, slicks back his hair and steps into the spotlight to deliver his homage to The Master.
His songs range from the unapologetic romance of I’ll See You Again, through the tinder-dry satire of Stately Homes of England to the comic masterpiece that is Mad Dogs and Englishmen.
The performance starts at 8pm.
