ARTISTIC students at Stratford College have been showcasing their final projects in a huge exhibition.
Students studying art and design, fashion, graphic design, make up for stage and screen and photography at the college all exhibited their final major projects across three floors of the campus.
Students researched, designed, created and then showcased their projects and showed work created in a whole range of mediums.
Examples included interactive exhibits where music accompanied the pieces, or even work where you had to use torches just to see it.
Photography student Will Fountain was delighted it was an open exhibition.
He said: “It allows external people to get an insight into photography so they can have a deeper understanding of the subject and the work we create. Also, I want to go to university to study sport photography so I can use this to build my portfolio.”
Philip Watson Smith, Programme Manager for Visual Arts and Media, added he was incredibly proud of the students’ work.
He said: “It is a great showcase that exhibits all the work the students have accomplished over the academic year. What the learners have created for their final outcomes is a culmination of the talent and hard work of our students and the incredible hardworking staff who supported them.”
