Bee farmer enjoys sweet taste of success

Stratford Editorial 17th Oct, 2021   0

BEE farmer Steve Browning has been enjoying the sweet taste of success.

Steve, who runs Studley-based Arden Forest Honey, has been awarded three stars in the 2021 Guild of Fine Foods Awards.

Two stars were given to his already award-winning Wildflower honey which the judges

described as having a “subtle personality with a full mouth of floral flavours”, while his Borage honey received a star for its “delicate but delicious” taste.

Arden Forest Honey was created by Steve in 2008 after he was gifted some equipment by an elderly beekeeper he had been helping in his spare time.

Fast forward to today and he has 400 hives across Warwickshire and Worcestershire, with his honey on the shelves of shops across the West Midlands.

He also supplies caterers across the country including Michelin star winners.
