A NEW testing facility is up and running at Henley School for its staff and pupils.
Fast turn-around lateral flow testing started yesterday (Wednesday) for key worker pupils still attending the school. Staff were tested at the start of the week.
Those at the school will be tested weekly and more instructions will follow once the rest of the pupils return to school – subject to government guidance.
Lateral flow antigen tests are a new kind of technology that can be used to test a higher proportion of people without symptoms, making it easier to identify and isolate more people who could spread the virus, and to break the chains of transmission.
The school testing follows the opening of a public lateral test facility opened on Tuesday at The Other Place theatre. Other Warwickshire facilities up and running include sites in Leamington, Rugby, Bedworth, Nuneaton and Water Orton.
Stratford residents can book a test between 8.15am and 8pm, Monday to Friday and 10.15am to 4pm on Saturday and Sunday.
