Stratford Butterfly Farm flushed with information

Stratford Editorial 8th Apr, 2020   0

THERE is no such thing as poo much information at Stratford Butterfly Farm.

The venue’s toilets have undergone an major face-lift which includes displays of fascinating poo facts from the animal kingdom.

When the attraction reopens visitors will be able to learn about the use of bat poo in explosives and the secret ingredient of an expensive coffee bean – all on the back of the toilet doors.

And those making longer use of the facilities can also watch a film showing caterpillars munching on leaves and depositing their waste.

The £37,000 makeover also includes stone basins, bamboo effect doors and a rainforest mural.

Marketing manager Jane Kendrick said: “Our newly refurbished toilets will surely fascinate and entertain our visitors with footage of caterpillars munching and pooing. With so much to see and discover, the Butterfly Farm is the ideal place to entertain and enthrall visitors of all ages whatever the weather.”
