A SOLAR farm the size of 80 football pitches could be built in Stratford district.
Renewable energy company Regenerate Power is looking at creating the development in Wimpstone – between Alderminster and Lower Quinton. It would be accessed off Stratford Road or Redhill Bank.
The plans would include solar panels between one and three metres in height and sheep could graze on the land. The development would be surrounded by a 2.5metre high mesh fence.
