A FESTIVE investigation is underway at Charlecote Park.
‘The Great Charlecote Jewel Theft’ is inspired by a real-life burglary at the National Trust property in the mid 1800s.
Honorary detectives of all ages are invited to find the ‘Star of Wonder’ stolen from the Christmas party set in the 1920s.
Party-goers must find clues, crack puzzles and piece together the evidence to solve the puzzle and earn a prize.
The event also pays homage to the property’s links to Agatha Christie who was engaged to resident Reginald Lucy in the early 1900s.
Police from nearby Wellesbourne were called to the scene where they cut the crime scene tape ribbon to launch the puzzling investigation.
The investigation runs daily – except Christmas Day – until January 5.
