DEDICATED volunteers were recognised for their work supporting the community.
The Stratford Soroptimist Club was awarded the Special Recognition Award for team work at the recent South Warwickshire Volunteer Awards Ceremony.
Warwickshire County Council chair Nicola Davies presented the trophy to members Gillian Loader and Rose Hutchinson.
Their contribution to the community includes maintaining the Nicol Ward Garden of Stratford Hospital with help from grant giving organisation the Stratford Town Trust.
The club was nominated for the award by Dr Cristina Ramos from Rother House Medical Centre.
