A DEDICATED resident from Stratford is gearing up to help those affected by cancer.
Carole Williams is taking on a grueling challenge to cycle the length of the country, from John O’Groats to Lands End, in ten days.
She aims to raise £5,000 for Cancer Research after family members and friends suffered from the illness, resulting in the loss of a close friend near Christmas.
Carole said: “Cancer has touched the lives of my family, my friends and my work colleagues and I have lost people dear to me as well as strangers, people I know of, and people I will never know.
“Many of you will have also been personally affected and know friends and colleagues who have been blighted by ‘The Big C’.
