A LANDMARK Stratford restaurant has closed down.
The Thai Boathouse on Swans Nest Lane shut around a week ago without explanation.
A notice on the restaurant’s website reads: “We sincerely regret this restaurant has now closed permanently.
“Thank you to all of our customers.”
Former visitors took to social media to express their shock and disappointment at the closure of the restaurant, which has been in the town for many years.
One said: “Lovely friendly staff and very good food. It’s a loss to Stratford.”
Avon Boating, which is based downstairs in the building, remains open.
