Stolen lorry full of potentially dangerous toys found

Stratford Editorial 8th Jan, 2019 Updated: 8th Jan, 2019   0

A STOLEN lorry load of potentially dangerous toys has been found by police.

The lorry was stolen from Wellesbourne Distribution Park in November prompting police to issue a warning to the public.

Before being taken, the toys on board had been set to be destroyed due to quality control issues which meant they could be unsafe.

But officers found the lorry and its load in Cakemore Road, Rowley Regis, on Wednesday (January 2).

They thanked everyone who shared the appeal and are calling for anyone who has information about the stolen vehicle to contact them.

Ring 101 to speak to police or call 0800 555 111 to speak to Crimestoppers anonymously.
