FIRE chiefs have confirmed there were no injuries in the blaze which tore through a Wellesbourne restaurant.
Crews were called to a fire at Shah’s restaurant – just off the roundabout on Charlecote Road – last night (Wednesday) around 4.30pm, and took some seven hours to tackle the flames.
The road was closed causing traffic chaos in the village.
Residents were advised to keep windows and doors shut due to the smoke plume.
