Growing business offers haircuts in exchange for Movember donation

BARBERS are moustaching up for this year’s Movember men’s health campaign.

Gould Barbers will be raising funds for the charity during the opening of its new branch in Tesco on Birmingham Road tomorrow (Friday).

As well as growing hair, owners Leigh and Darran Gould are offering hair cuts in exchange for donations to the campaign which raises awareness of men’s health issues including prostate cancer, testicular cancer, and suicide.

Men across the UK are encouraged to grow moustaches in support of the campaign.

Leigh said: “Movember is a very worthwhile cause and works hard to raise awareness about men’s health issues.

“In 2015 I was diagnosed with testicular cancer. I’m completely fine now, I was one of the lucky ones, but we all felt Movember was an important charity to support after my personal experience.”

Haircuts will be available between 7am and 6pm for all ages. Appointments are not necessary.
