Arson attack could have endangered lives

Stratford Editorial 14th May, 2018   0

AN ARSON attack could have been fatal had a neighbour not noticed a storage area on fire next to a house in Alcester.

The fire – which completely destroyed equipment and wheelie bins in a garden in Hertford Road around 8pm on Friday (May 11) – is being treated by police, as arson which could have endangered life.

The neighbour made the residents aware of the fire and they left unhurt.

The house suffered smoke damage inside and out.

The investigation is ongoing and anyone with information should call police on 101 or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
