PETER Rabbit will be lending a helping paw to Stratford Foodbank.
Volunteer Philip Coldicott has donated his giant Peter Rabbit teddy to be raffled off at the Everyman Cinema in Bell Court as a new film featuring the Beatrix Potter character hit cinema screens this weekend.
The charity – which operates from a hut in Tesco car park – will use the donations to continue its work distributing food parcels to those in need.
A charity spokesperson said: “We’re so lucky to have such thoughtful creative people in the Foodbank Team and thanks to the Everyman for getting behind the promotion.”
