Football shirts fly off hangers in Stratford's Age UK shop

Stratford Editorial 3rd Dec, 2017   0

MORE than 40 football shirts from clubs around the world have been donated to Stratford’s Age UK shop.

Shop manager Diana Ford says the shirts are flying off the hanger along with gifts of homeware, books and toy.

She said: “Particularly around the festive season we gain many weird and wonderful donations. If you are stuck for present ideas, or simply browsing for yourself, our shop is the place to come. Not only will your gift be enjoyed by whomever it’s given to, but will also help raise money to support older people in the community. It’s a gift that keeps on giving.”

The shop uses money through purchases and donations to fund the charity’s campaign against loneliness in older people.

Call the shop on 01789 509964 or visit www.ageuk.org.uk/warwickshire to find out more.
