ROTARIANS raised £4,500 following its Shakespeare Duck Race event which saw over 2,000 ‘quacky racers’ compete for the finish line.
Club members presented a cheque to The Shakespeare Hospice towards its Children and Young People’s Service which offers bereavement support.
The second Stratford Rotary Club Evening Group-organised event took place on the Avon in August and included a number a corporate Duck Race allowing companies to buy a range of ‘occupational ducks’, such as a chef duck, waiter and waitress duck and hairdresser duck.
