STRATFORD MP Nadhim Zahawi was told to calm down in Parliament.
Speaker of the House of Commons, John Bercow, reprimanded the out-of-order Tory MP for ‘gesticulating in a distinctly eccentric manner’ adding “Shakespeare’s county deserves better!”.
Mr Zahawi’s frustration appeared to have stemmed from a comment about housing and employment from Labour leader Jeremy Corbyn.
Fortunately, Mr Zahawi’s telling-off was met with laughter in the House and the debate continued.
It is not the first time Mr Zahawi has raised a chuckle in Parliament.
Back in 2011 he inadvertently turned on his musical tie while making a speech during an education debate.
Mr Zahawi’s – who was wearing the red neckpiece in support of national charity Beating Bowel Cancer – immediately apologised.
Then deputy speaker Dawn Primarolo urged him to be “more selective” in future in his choice of ties.
