FREE blood pressure tests are being offered in Stratford this weekend.
The Stroke Association and Rotary International are joining forces to help raise awareness of one of the biggest risk factors for stroke at the United Reformed Church on Rother Street on Saturday, from noon to 3pm.
Samantha Wheeler from the Stratford Rotary club said: “ Stroke strikes every five minutes in the UK, but with events like these, we hope to change this. A blood pressure test is quick and painless, and it could save your life.”
In addition to Saturday’s event, there will be blood pressure checks at community events throughout the year.
