Walkers urged to put their best foot forward in Snowdonia

WALKERS are being urged to put their best foot forward this summer in Snowdonia.

The British Red Cross is looking for participants for its ten mile Trek Snowdon challenge on June 17.

Red Cross fundraiser Karina Norton-Amor says: “This is a fantastic trek and although it might sound quite daunting at first, it is very achievable and incredibly rewarding when you finish. Plus, the views at the top are spectacular and certainly not to be missed.

“It is going to be a great day and the money raised will make a real difference to peoples’ lives.

All money raised from this event will enable the Red Cross to continue to support those in crisis here in Warwickshire and overseas.

Entry costs £10 with a sponsorship target of £100.
