FORMER Doctor Who star David Tennant needed some cooling down while filming on the Avon.
The 45 year-old actor was in Stratford shooting his new romantic comedy ‘You, Me and Him’.
He was snapped in a boat on the river, as an assistant poured a bottle of water over his head.
The RSC board member has been all around Warwickshire filming scenes for the movie, which is being co-produced by his wife Georgia Tennant.
Fan Sophie Rushton took the photos after seeing Tennant filming in the town – which appears to be the third time in recent weeks.
She said: “I couldn’t believe it when I got down there and saw him.”
The actor has a long and illustrious career in Stratford, appearing on the RSC stage including as Hamlet and Richard II among others, and as co-host of the Bard’s 400th anniversary celebration Shakespeare Live at the RST.
He has also starred in the likes of Broadchurch and Harry Potter.
