Youngsters learn the importance of recycling

Stratford Editorial 10th Nov, 2016   0

RECYCLING rabbits helped youngsters learn about the importance of sorting their rubbish.

Children at Winchcombe Farm Day Nursery in Upper Tysoe were read a story to explain the benefits of recycling.

Stratford District Council Recycling Team member Olly Schofield also spoke about the importance of recycling and helped pupils sort a pile of rubbish into what was recycling and waste.

Winchcombe Farm Day Nursery manger Allie Aves said: “The children thoroughly enjoyed Olly’s visit and loved the story he told.

“He also encouraged them to help their parents to recycle at home”.
