Free family activities for RSC's Stratford-on-Sea event

Stratford Editorial 5th Jul, 2016 Updated: 28th Oct, 2016   0

THE SEASIDE is coming to Stratford at the end of the month.

The RSC will be offering families a month of free summer entertainment as the Bancroft Terrace plays host to seaside activities and end of the pier style fun as part of Stratford-on-Sea.

Events are set to begin on July 24 and continue every Sunday from 11am to 5pm until August 28.

Highlights include a giant version of the game Battleships, The Tempest Tricycle – where visitors can go on a quest to help Prospero escape his prison island – and four brand new theatre pieces commissioned by the RSC and theatre company Stan’s Cafe.

There will also be live music, a giant colouring workshop and an opportunity for people to create a sand sculpture.

Visit www.rsc.org.uk/events/stratford-on-sea for full details.
