IT WAS a simple walk in the bark for four-legged friends who took part in Shakespeare Hospice’s latest fund-raising event.
Sherbourne Park opened its doors on Saturday (May 14) as more than 60 dogs and their owners strode out for the Woofs and Wellies charity walk.
With the sun shining down, participants were able to enjoy the beautiful countryside along the 5K route while children got involved in a treasure hunt.
The event raised around £1,000 for the Shottery-based hospice, which provides support and advice to patients, carers and family members affected by a life-limiting illness.
Organisers would like to thank the event’s sponsors, Mobile Pet Supplies, all those who took part and the family of Sherbourne for opening the park on the day.
