A TEENAGER with dreams of becoming a television presenter is offering visitors the chance to discover some of the town’s hotspots in his ‘Wacky Guide to Stratford’.
Alex Manners from Solihull created the six minute video guide when he came to visit the town, giving a tour of destinations from Shakespeare’s Birthplace to the Mad Museum.
But the 19-year-old – who suffers from Aspergers Syndrome – says his video is not in the usual style as he tried to showcase his ‘quirky and colourful’ character through the footage.
It sees Alex dressed in a bright outfit, walking around the town and describing what to expect from the attractions.
He said: ”I’ve always been bright and colourful.
“I’ve had Aspergers since I was ten and I look at it as a positive more than a negative. It’s pushed me forward and to be more confident.
“I took my camera with me to Stratford and decided to do something which was different and quirky.
“I filmed it in my own unique way to make it stand out for visitors.”
