POLICE patrols have been stepped up in the Alcester area after a spate of burglaries.
Since the start of March there have been eight reported burglaries in the town.
Police arrested four people on March 21 with all being released on bail while enquiries continue.
Officers are urging people to call 101 if they witness anything suspicious in the area.
