Concern for missing dog Reggie

AN URGENT search is underway to find a beloved family pet who went missing just after moving to the area.

The Satchell family recently moved to Warwick from London and were settling into local life when dog Reggie went missing on January 7.

The two-year-old Lucas Terrier disappeared from Old Budbrooke Road, and with the cold weather setting in, the family are growing more and more concerned about their dog.

Trisha Shaw from charity DogLost and Pawprints Dog Rescue said: “We suspect Reggie has been using the canal path, possibly towards Stratford, and we have a confirmed sighting of him at Prince’s Drive in Warwick. We’re determined to keep searching until he’s found – but we really need the community to report any possible sightings.”

The family have spoken out about how grateful they are to the local community for their support.

Owner Rachel said: “We really can’t believe how fantastic everyone’s been. We’ve had help searching, and people have put posters up for us too. We’re so grateful for the enthusiasm and determination the community has shown.

“The children really miss him and we need him to come home as soon as possible.”

Call 07725 764376 or 07949 038552 to report any sightings.

There is a reward for any information leading to Reggie’s return.
