AN 85-YEAR-OLD woman had to be taken to hospital after a car and HGV collided in Stratford.
The pensioner was driving her blue Peugeot 206 along Seven Meadows Road around 12.45pm on Saturday (September 12) when it was involved in a smash with a heavy goods vehicle.
The woman, who is from Droitwich, was taken to Warwick Hospital for further treatment and Warwickshire Police is now appealing for witnesses to the accident.
Anyone who saw the crash, or the circumstances leading up to it, is asked police on 101.
