PUPILS at Stratford School know the sum of things.
A record number of maths awards have been given to the school’s pupils in the intermediate maths challenge – a multiple choice test for children in Years 9, 10 and 11.
A total of three pupils from the school on Alcester Road scooped gold awards, with 21 taking home silver and 27 winning bronze.
A spokeswoman said: “We were very pleased to receive a record number of awards for students this year.
“The school and especially the maths department is immensely proud of all the pupils who took part and we congratulate those achieving awards.”
