WANNABE stars showcased their skills in front of a panel of judges as Britain’s Got Talent arrived at Stratford College.
Auditions were open to all staff and students who took to the stage with a range of talents including singing, dancing and stand-up comedy.
Senior researcher Jake Court from Thames TV, producers of BGT, said: “We liked the look of Stratford because we felt there was a lot of talent in the town waiting to be discovered.
“There’s an abundance of it at schools, theatres and open mic sessions so it was a natural choice to come and do auditions here.”
Seventeen year-old Phoebe Morris who is studying acting, said : “The production team were so lovely and down to earth. It made the whole process so much more relaxing.”
The college will now have to wait to see any of those who auditioned are selected to appear in front of a television audience of millions.
