A VISIT from Father Christmas, a choir and stilt walkers helped make Shipston Victorian Evening a festive success.
Despite a dip in temperatures, hundreds turned out to enjoy carousel rides, gingerbread icing and performances from the Shout choir, Shipston Town Band and a Ukelele Band.
The annual event, hosted by Shipston Rotary, saw all stalls booked in record time and a boom in business for local shops.
Shipston Rotarian Chris Cockell said: “The Rotary Victorian Evening has become an integral part of the Shipson calendar.
“It’s designed to be fun for all the family, good for local businesses and an important part of the fund-raising plans of many local charities and good causes.”
