CLOPTON Bridge in Stratford had to be closed because a motorist was in cardiac arrest.
Police and the air ambulance were called at around 10.30am today (Tuesday) due to concerns for the welfare of the man believed to be in his 30s.
He was taken to hospital.
The road was re-opened by midday.
